Hi!
Trying to help someone debug a problem with NoVNC.  They are using version 1.0 (don't ask!) and that is invoked using websockify.

They have other requirements that would be solved with later NoVNC releases, but they are insisting that from version 1.1 onwards, websockify has been removed and so they can't move.

Everything I can see, suggests that websockify invocation is still present (or am I making an assumption here?).  What is the definitive answer here, please so I can help resolve this problem.

Many thanks,
John

Hi!

Websockify used to be bundled with noVNC, but that's much earlier than release 1.0.

Since v0.6, you're able to run utils/launch.sh, which will git-clone the Websockify repo so you get a local copy if it's not already present.

Note that in noVNC v1.3 and onward, utils/launch.sh is called utils/novnc_proxy

Cheers,
Alex
