Problems Connecting to Mac OSX Client ...

Hello,

We tried to set up a Ubuntu noVNC Server in order to connect to a Mac OS X 10.14.6 (Mojave) Client.

The server is running, but we couldn't establish a connection to our Mac Client.

On the Mac side we have allowed vnc-connections + plus enabling the vncagent in the security panel.

We could yet establish a connection to a windows client (running vnc).

Are there any limitations connecting to osx?

Hello Stefan.

I don't have a solution, just a suggestion. I've been using Vine VNC Server with NoVNC for about one year without any problems. It has given me better performance than the MacOS built-in VNC server.

Hello Virgílio,

I installed the Vine Server on my Mojave Client.

We established a connection via noVNC. But we didn't find a way to set the correct keyboard settings.

Vine offers no option for this.

Does NoVNC set the keyboard? Can I change the setting here?

Sorry for the late reply - noVNC doesn't interfere with they keyboard settings.
