I've come to realize that the most fervent development on November was
done just before YAPC::EU, when we raced to have something reasonable
to show everyone.

Coincidentally, the next time November will be displayed on a Perl
get-together is NPW 2009 in early April, where the focus will be on
Rakudo and Perl 6 in general. It would be great to have reached "the
next stage" in November's life by then. A lot of things already look
and work great, but we're missing a few planned features.

For YAPC::EU, we got the so-called "Essential features" working.
Looking over docs/FEATURES, I see that the following things listed
under "Important features" are still unimplemented:

* Edit collision prevention
* Article history
* View old revisions of pages
* Page diffs
* Uploaded images in articles
* Full Unicode support

Now, I suspect we'll more or less have the last feature automatically.
Which leaves five features in five weeks. I think that's definitely
doable. So that's what I'll be doing in March.

Some of these features already exist in p5w, and some will have to be
implemented there first. (See docs/FEATURES.)

If anyone wants to help implement any of these features, feel free to
contanct me. (Or feel free to do all your work secretly in a local
branch and then do a pull request, whatever floats your boat.) If
nothing else, my time will be freed up for hacking on Web instead. :)

The implementation of the above features will be important for another
reason than NPW: when we have those features, it would be reasonable
to call November production-ready (aka "1.0"). Looking forward to
that.
