I am trying to track down the meaning of the following:
alarm generator: SMNP
alarm category: netware server alarm extension mib
alarm type: generic sys$log . ERR Major Trap
alarm time: date and time
summary: 819Account ID414M01-Mac Address-IP address deleted by
user SERVERNAME on station 02 active connections terminated Locus =

I know what the ID414M01, mac address and ip address are all about, but
what is the alert about. What has the server actually deleted?

Thanks in advance,

Not for sure if I really know the cause for this....Does this happen a lot?

More often than I would like to see, similar errors 5 or 6 times a day.

Lance Redbourne,

I am told that this even happens when a user is deleted.
Does that help?

after a week of errors, they have stopped for the last 2 days.
I won't worry about it unless it starts again,
thanks,

Is this a user or workstation object?

They are workstation objects. When I look at the audit trail, it seems
the user logged out a couple of minutes before the trap was sent.

Sounds as if the workstation object isn't correctly unauthenticating or
such...Do you have a removal policy configured?
