Change NIC Speed on Managed Desktops

I want to set them to auto-detect speed and duplex. We can't
realistically visit each PC to do this.

What we need is a mechanism by which Managed Desktop PCs can be changed
from 10Mb/half duplex to Auto/Auto.

Maybe a reg file?
Something which can be run-once from NAL?
We'll also need a mechanism to change machines back to 10Mb/half duplex
in case it all goes horribly wrong.

I guess the major issue will be if the network speed setting is
directly related to the particular ethernet board as there are various
models of machines out there on the Managed Desktop.

It would also be nice if there was a way in which the end user can
easily tell which speed their PC is operating at.

Can anyone be of help?
