Also, just tried to replicate this on my xpsp3/ie8/allupdated vmware
workstation 7 vm....it installed without issue as it should.....

if it still fails with the HP2 agent (and I suspect it will) then I
think my best advice is to raise a SR, since you will probably need to
work with Novell to see what's unique about those hardware platforms...

I doubt if it will change either (I just looked at the SR), but it's a
sensible first step, because it will mean that engineering can
eliminate anything that's specific to your environment.
