Hello, We have recently implemented desktop policies and users are now all
part of the users Windows group. Users require access to a legacy
application which writes to the registry so they require full access to this
key. Is there a way to use Zenworks to assign or modify registry rights for
local user groups? I know using DLU you can assign local file rights but I
was hoping it was that easy for the registry as well.

Thanks,

Ron

Call REGINI.exe via a ZEN App.
This is an MS Tool for managing Registry Permissions.

Thanks Rolf, that worked great. The only issue I see is that you cannot
edit Local User registry settings, its Local Machine only. Is there a work
around for this that you know of?

Sorry, no.
You could try what Craig suggested, Regini.exe which is a Resorce Kit tool,
but I have no experience whatsoever from using that.
