I just installed SuSE 10.1 and it's running FireFox 1.5.0.7. I'd like to
upgrade to 2.0 and I've downloaded the files, however I can't figure out
how to update it. I'm wondering if I just need to copy the files over the
top and then run an update or something, however I can't find the original
folder. I can't find an install file either. I remember normally that a
Linux package would have an install.sh file or something. No luck there.
Any suggestions? Thanx in advance.

Try to find an RPM install instead of the raw one from the Mozilla site.

You should be able to simply install the new version right on top of the
older one. I just did this with Thunderbird. The only problem I had was
that the Archiver wouldn't let me overwrite the existing files. I solved
this problem by moving the entire /thunderbird directory to the Trash,
then extracting the new Thunderbird in its place. This worked just fine;
you should be able to do the same for firefox.
