Internet access slow in SLED10

I dual-boot Windows XP SP2 with IE7 and SLED 10. The time for web pages (the
same ones I might add) to load in SLED is much longer than that in Windows.
This seems to be the case whether I use Konqeror or Firefox. The two OSs
are obviously using the same internet connection, and in SLED I have no
firewall set up. Is this a general thing, or is there some set up parameter
I need to change in SLED?

Turn off IPv6. Look up how with Google. If that solves it, it is a
problem with your provider who are not able to do things correctly.
