copy song from a cd or dvd

I have a number of cd's that I want to copy the songs from the cd to a
flash drive. When placed in the cd drive it asked me what I want to use
to play the songs, which is normal. If I go to dolphin and look at the
file for the cd, it tells me that there is no program to open block
device.
What program do I need to install so that I can view the songs on the cd
and copy them to a hard drive or flash drive?
