Hi,

What are the differences between Open-Xchange Server 5 and SLOX?
Is it still a Novell/SUSE product?

Kind regards,

Arjan

SLOX is Novell, Open-Xchange is the newer version not from Novell IIRC

Hi Arjan,

Take a look at the OX website (http://www.openexchange.com/EN/) under
product you can see a menu item that links to a page for migration from
SLOX to OX. From there you can download a number of PDF's that should help
you with your question.

Tom

From my experience that is only half correct (but what is IIRC?)!

SLOX is no longer supported by Novell after approximately October 2007.
SLOX is also not available for purchase after 28/02/2006. Novell is now
promoting OX5. The product is available for purchase from either the
resellers or from OX directly.

Regards,

Tom

So what's the relation between Novell and NetLine in regards to OX? is
Novell getting any benefit from NetLine's profit or business for OX
sales?
