Can't install suse 9 sp3 on a hp dl585 g2

I saw a few other posts.. Here is my experience..

I boot using suse enterprise 9 sp3 cd1..
choose install with noapci
it eventually says please make sure disk 1 is in drive.
I know it means my original disk1 from suse. I put it in.. hit
enter..

I see this

"could not find the suse linux enterprise server 9 installtion cd"
"activating manual install"

>From the manual install I try every cd I have, 9 , 9 sp2 and 9 sp3
I get "could not find image" check directory structure

I am absolutely lost.. Any ideas? I can't install using regular 9
because then it doesn't recognize the smart array 400p

I did try that one time but chose update (f6) and put in disk 1 of sp3
and it found all my hardware, but once again asked for disk one and
went into the loop up top..
