For reasons I can't really expand on I am running SuSE 9 SP2 and have
enabled auditing using Laus to do the auditing. One requirement that I am
under is an obligation to audit password changes - that is recording every
time a user changes their password on the system. Reading the documentation
for Laus indicated that it should be possible, but I simply can't get the
auditing software to record the information - at least not within a secure
shell environment.
Does anyone know how to do this in laus or anywhere on the system for that
matter? Changing the auditing software and changing the OS version isn't an
option, so if it can't be done period, that helps me as well.
