Just got a HP mini-note (SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop) and I love it.

I know, this might be a real newbie question, but I have only used Mac
computers in the past, and are new to both Linux and umpc's! When I
shutdown my Mini-Note (from the
start menu) in either "sleep" or "hibernate" mode, I can't really start
it up again. When flipping the "thingie" left on the front the computer
starts up only to completely shut down.

What am I doing wrong here?

I can't start it up correctly...

iSteen,

Your message was not posted to the official Novell news
server or crossposted to a non novell.* newsgroup.
While your news server might show the Novell support
newsgroups, Novell has no official connection with other news
servers, and the message you posted will probably never
propagate to the official Novell server. The SysOps only see
messages on the Novell server and for that reason,
you will probably never get a reply to your
message posted here.

I suggest you post your message directly to the official
novell news server named support-forums.novell.com. The
