Can you create an autoyast.xml file from an existing system that you want other
servers to mimic? I would like this to be automatic process if possible.

Does that make sense?

Thanks,

LDB

LDB,

Your message was not posted to the official Novell news
server or crossposted to a non novell.* newsgroup.
While your news server might show the Novell support
newsgroups, Novell has no official connection with other news
servers, and the message you posted will probably never
propagate to the official Novell server. The SysOps only see
messages on the Novell server and for that reason,
you will probably never get a reply to your
message posted here.

I suggest you post your message directly to the official
novell news server named support-forums.novell.com. The

Partially, the AutoYast tool (in YaST I believe it's under Misc - the
Autoyast module) will allow you to create an AutoYast file based on your
current system setup.

However, files that you modify would have to be added manually - or any
other "specific" changes you made. These can all be done within the tool..

EVMS is currently not supported with AutoYast (at least it wasn't last
time I checked), but LVM is...
