Simple Rights Question

Just need a clarification of rights; I can't seem to find clear documentation.

1. In order to print to an NDPS printer, I know the user has to be in the
Users list for that printer. Do I need to grant any trustee rights to the
NDPS printer object itself, or will those rights be assigned automatically
after the user has been added to the user list?

2. In order to install an NDPS printer on a workstation, does that user
need to only be in the Users list for that printer? What assignments are
necessary to install a printer?

3. Know where I can find good (explicit) documentation on assigning printer
rights?
