Hello,
I wonder if anybody could help point me in the right direction to make a
contact with a Novell engineer who understands NDPS printing down to a very
technical level, especially the remote printer management side of things.

You might post a specific starter query here --- sysops in this newsgroup
might be able to handle it, and failing that, forward it to folks at Novell
who could, including some who are well versed in the printer stuff.
