Printing only half pages?

Hello all!

I have posted about this before but I wanted to bring it up again to maybe
get a fresh look at this issue. We have a few particular users that this
happnes to, and no one else! When they print from any application, Word,
Excel etc.., some of the pages will only print half way. The rest of the
page is gone or lost! I have tried this with NDPS printers and iPrint
printers installed and it happenes many times. Different printer models on
the three people who it happens too, HP 4100DTN, HP5000DTN. Some info...

NW 6 SP3
Windows 2000 pro sp4
iPrint client - 2.01
Novell Client 4.9
NDPSM PTF v1.04 CSP9 version - 3.01.01 dated August 8, 2003

Any thoughts?

What happens if you print, using the same driver, to the printer IP address,
basically bypassing the server. Create a new IP port in Windows 2000 and
point the printers to this port. This should tell you if it is a problem
with NDPS/Server or Client/Printer.

The job will print fine when I install the printer as an IP printer. Many
other peoploe use the same drivers and the same OS etc...and never have a
problem, but these users usually always have issues with it printing only
half a page. More often than not it happens in the afternoon, and power
cycling the printers will fix it until the next day. The printers are turned
off at night and restarted, but we have tried leaving them on as well. The
funny thing is...I recently upgraded a users machine with a brand new PC,
new image, new client and new software, but it still happens to this one
user!

It愀 often a problem with the new hpgateways. You have to increase the
timeout parameter from 3 secs to something greater. Try 30 secs
perhaps.
