Hi,
I can't find any other forum that seems to apply to NW FTP so I am
asking the question here. This is FTP on NW5sp6a.

Is there a way to restrict an ftp user to a particular source IP
address? can you put in IP address in the ADDRESS argument or only a
host name?

I have a customer that wants access so I was going to create an NDS user
for him in a "Guests" container. Does he have to login in with his
complete context if he is not in the same container as the FTP server?

Thanks,
KM

I don't think there is a forum for it. When I try to load FTPADMIN on
my 5.0SP6a server, I get a bunch of undefined public symbol errors, and
complaints on the console of "Unixlib: Waiting for NetDB to login
NDS....". Unloading Unixlib stops the complaints, but unless you can
help me to get it running, I'm afraid I won't be much help to you. In
the meantime, maybe someone else who has used the product will see this
and respond...
