Any word yet on when/if file locking (LOCKD.NLM) will be available for
NSS volumes exported for NFAU?

Is it available in NetWare 6.0?

Will it every be available in NetWare 6.0? I really don't want to
upgrade a 100 user license just for file locking. I guess it comes down
to how import it is to me.

I wouldn't think so, but Madhan would be a better one to answer that.

On 6.0 the only other option is using a Traditional volume with
nfsserv.nlm and lockd.nlm . Apart from that I dont think there'an
alternative.

FYI - 6.5 has a MP enabled, peformance improved which leverages NSS
better and in cases has been observed to have 5 times better than in
6.0. I'm not sure what it's going to cost you in terms of an upgrade,
but together as a bunch 6.5 does offer a lot of value add.

Regards,
Madhan.
