Netware 6.5 xnfs.nlm file locking

Hi!

Has anyone had a problems with nw65 + xnfs as a server and
linux/solaris as a client.
My very big problem is that file locking is not working although
everything seem to fine. Lockd and rpc is running on both ends but
still I get from the traffic dump:

Otherwise nfs is working fine, only file locking is missing??????

Hardlinks are not supported and error seems to indicate that. I have
been able to run the connectathon lock tests from www.connectathon.org
against xnfs and all the tests have passed.

Does anybody know when hardlinks will be supported in Netware 6.5? I am
unable to login with Linux Gnome and have tested the workaround
suggested in n.s.o.s.native.file.access without succeeding.

Is there any other way to avoid using hardlinks on the NFS share and
still let the user have easy access to their Netware files, maybe have a
local home on Linux and mount Netware as a subdirectory?

The problem is in filesystem not in NFS. NSS really (in all versions
including 6.5) NOT support hardlinks. Few times i ask novell and make
enhancement request without success.
The solutions is: use TFS (with nfs name space) or do changes on client side
(tell gnome to do lockfiles in some local path ie. /tmp)
