A scheduled "Work to Do" took over one minute to run -Back Up exec 9.0

Netware 6 SP1.

New Compaq Server which has been installed for about one month. The message
"A scheduled "Work to Do" took over one minute to run. It stopped happening
around 2:00am Friday night during Back Up Exec version 9.0 back up. It
appears to be happening during the back up.

do you have lots of compressed files? try SET DIRTY DISK CACHE DELAY
TIME = 0.1 in startup.ncf, and type it at the console.
