I have a Novell Server running 6.0sp3e and I want to back up my entire
server. I also have 2 DLT Tape Drives. I can get my backup jobs to backup
the Server but the Job always spits out the first tape and asks for the
Second to complete the Backup Job. How can I set the Job up so that it
automatically finishes the Backup Job on the Second Tape on the Second DLT
backup devices. My system recognizes both devices.

Thanks,

Mike

Thank you for the Response. So, basically, I can't set up cascaded drive
pool with SBackup. I have a copy of BE8.5. Do you know of any issues with
using BE8.5 and Netware 6.0 or 6.5

BE 8.5 is not certified to work with NW 6.0 or 6.5 -- and in fact won't run
since it looks for TSA500.NLM -- you can copy TSA600.NLM to TSA500.NLM --
and this works for some.

When you say:

<you can copy TSA600.NLM to TSA500.NLM

What do you mean? Copy it from where to where?
I am currently using TSA600.NLM to run my backup with Enhanced SBackup.

Make a copy of tsa500 and call it tsa600

From the SYS:SYSTEM directory (logged in from a workstation):

Copy TSA600.NLM TSA500.NLM

This will let BE 8.5 think it is coping with a NW 5x server set of TSA and
it should work. It did for me with NW 6.0. I've since upgraded my Backup
Exec from 8.5 to 9.0 and recently to 9.1.
