Does Novell support dvd? We would like to take
some data off our raid and put it on a cd for
ocasional network access but it's too much for
one cd so we were thinking of putting it on a
dvd.

Sure does.
Our NetWare v5.1 server recognises the HP dvd100i DVD Writer no problems.

Hi Bruce
We have been testing it with a beta copy of Storage Manager which allows
you to create images of the server to DVD.
I don't know of any software that would allow you to write to the writer
that works for files on the NetWare server.
The NetWare OS supports DVD drives for reading...
