Anyone know how I can find out what firmware version we have running for
our Quantum DLT8000 tape drive? How about the serial #, anyway to find
that out without physically removing it? Thanks

If it's connected to your server, load the driver for the controller
it's connected to, then load SCSI2TP and NWASPI. Then LIST STORAGE
ADAPTERS. Should show you the firmware rev, at least. For serial
number... not sure short of having some backup software installed that
can read it. But if you have that, you can most likely get the
firmware rev from there, too.
