Hi,

Created a NNS volume and have never been able to mount that volume. If I
start NSS /menu and do a "NSS Volume Information" I can see the size,
volume ID etc. but if I try to delete or rename this volume I get the
following error:
------------------------------------------------
Failed to translate volume name to ID, NSS storage configuration
is prevented

What version of NW, SP, and other patches are applied? Are there other
working NSS volumes on this server? Have you tried a verify and/or rebuild?

Netware 5.1 SP6 (NSS.NLM Version 2.98b 2003 February 7). I have 11
Volumes and all are working except this one. I tried to do a rebuild but
I can only see these 11 volumes in the list, not the new volume. I can
only see this volume if I open Configure | modify in NSS Administration
Menu.

OK, I'd apply nss5q , delete the bad volume, and try recreating it then.

I've done that but it didn't help.

Really? Very odd. Are you perhaps using an invalid or duplicate volume name?
I can't think of what else might cause this.
