Hi,

I am setting up a NW50 to use Netware backup. I have NW SP6a plus most of
the post patches and a external DLT 15/30GB SCSI tape drive. After I loaded
NWTAPE.CDM and run list devices, I saw "DEC_DLT2000". In SBCON, I saw the
same drive. However, when I try to erase a tape, I got an error: "<SMSDI
v1.0 316> The sector size is not valid". I had tried different TSA updates.
I have a Adaptec2940AU SCSI card with latest NW5.0 driver from Adaptec.
Nothing work. Could anyone help, please?

Note: This tape drive is an used drive and all my tapes were used with
ARCServe 6.6 with another old Server (running NW4.11). Since the old server
is dead, I try to build another one with NW5.0 (because all others NW server
are NW5.0). Since I am going to use this server to backup my GroupWise with
GWTSA, I installed SBCON instead of ARCServe (I don't have ARCServer
installed).

Thanks very much,
Aldous
