I use nwconfig to remove DS from the server, then manually delete the
remaining objects via nwadmn or C1. There are, of course, other issues to
consider if this server happens to be the master of a partition, etc...

You can use NDSMGR32.EXE to change one of the others to be master, let
things settle, then remove DS from the server via NWCONFIG. Are all servers
running the same DS?

Then I'm not sure what the ramifications might be here (if any). I haven't
use those old DS versions for ages. You might ask in the DS forum if what
