Novell Backup Problems: Arcserve 6.6 sp4 on Netware 5.1 sp6

Dear all,

We found some problems on our backup system.

1.) We backup the Netware 5.1(sp6) server remotely by Arcserve 6.6 IT,
on some particular server, the backup jobs seems stop after a few
minutes. Actually, it can backup some files, afterwards, the jobs
seems stop. If we try to cancel the backup job, the backup server will
occurs a critical error and ran down in 2 minutes. At the console of
the remote server, I can found there are 3 connections from the backup
server with same user name and connection time.

2.) This is another issues happened on the other one remote server.
The backup jobs seems run ok. However the backup performance drop
dramatically. The backup speed will drop from 120MB/min drop to
100K/min. During the backup, the performance of the remote server also
drop dramatically. Any ideas on our problems?

Do you happen to have an abend.log file for your backup server?
