Steve, a couple of things, 256M should be ok but is a tad thin. Second,
are you installing using the unpatched version of NW 6? If so, you might
resolve this by instead using the SP3 Overlay download and creating a
boot/install CD with it. Could be a driver issue with the IDE drive here.

I'm assuming that the CDROM is on the secondary IDE controller, correct?
