User authenticate to a Server instead to NDS

A group of users authenticate to a Novell 5.1 Box.
It’s also the Zen works Srv Box. – Zen works it not being used currently.
The Network also has a NDS tree.
But from what I’ve been told they do not authenticate via the tree users
authenticate via this Novell 5.1 box.
How can I make that authenticate via the NDS tree?

NW 5.x standard user licenses are assigned to servers. A user
consumes a license on each server he/she connects to. NW 6 (and NW
5.x MLA/CLA) licenses are per-seat, and are assigned to a container,
rather than to a server. So, if you have standard NW 5.x licenses,
the users have to consume a license on each NW 5.x server they access.
