NW5.0 hang up at midnight

Hi,

After 3(5, 7) days of succeseful runing NW5.0 + SP6a
hang up at midnight - from 12AM to 2AM.

All user connections are dropped, impossible to shut down
the server, only through debugger or power button.
There are no entries in NW abend log or server nvram log.

Server is only file server with 2 NSS volumes (210GB and 2.6TB) + R/W
replica,
nothing more.

Is NW, NDS doing any housekeeping jobs at night hours?

You mean like compression?

Try running VRepair with write all directory and FAT entries out to disk =
ON

Repeat until you get no more errors. This can happen when you have a
corrupt file.

You really helped me to solve server hungup at midnight.
I marked all sys folders as Don't compress and server now is running all
time.
