vrepair hangs attempting repair on data volume.

Had abend on 5.0 server. Data volume would not mount afterward.
Attempted vrepair, but program hangs on "mirror mismatches". Is there any
hope of salvaging the volume thru any other repair or are there any
alternate approaches/tips when running vrepair?

Hi Dennis

Are you sure that it has hung? It could be just taking its time.

I would suggest downing the server and loading it with a SERVER -NA and
then running VREPAIR. Leave it for a while, depending on the size,
number of files etc a VREPAIR can take many hours to perform.

How big is the volume and how many files are on it?
