I have an old server that I am ready to retire. How do I remove it from the
NDS so that the other servers don't keep beeping because they can't
communicate with that server. If possible, I would like to be able to fire
up that server in case of an emergency. Really I just don't want the
beeping. Thanks

The cleanest way to remove a server is to load INSTALL.NLM and in the
NDS options, use the option to remove the NDS. This will cleanly remove
the server from the tree. However after this, users will no longer be
able to login to the server unless you once again use INSTALL.NLM to
reinstall the server into the tree.
