Can Backup Exec Restore User Licenses?

Hi,
Our sys admin. recent passed away, and we can't find our 50 user licensing
disks for Netware 4.2. We are attempting to restore a Netware 4.2 server
from Backup Exec 8.5. Can the "number of user" licensing be restored from
tape backup... Will Novell reissue the licenses?

Novell can and will issues new licenses but you need to prove ownership. I
am unsure how they will treat 4.11 as it is no longer in production.

Like Dave says... and to directly answer your question, no, Backup Exec
(nor any backup software) can restore user licenses.
