Hi, I have 1 laptop causing this (for now). This laptop with W2K and
4.80.2 client as soon as it boots and gets to the login prompt, causes
the server (4.11) utilization to go to 30-40% and stay there. Monitor
shows IPXRTR to be the process. Only 1 NIC in the server no routing.
Packet trace shows a huge number of packets between client and server
doing NCP requests and receives. The text portion of the packet has
print queue info in it. Of 500 pc's this is the only time I've seen
this, I'm stumped.

Thanks

Greg

Craig, thanks for the response. It was certainly infected with several
trojans. One of which was unidentified and sent to Symantec. We'll Ghost
the pc and see what happens
