Renaming a 4.11 server

Folks-

I am forced to rename my 4.11 server and give it a new IP address.
It is the only server on the tree.

1. Do I need to scratch install it?
2. If I just rename it do I need to reinstall the licenses?
3. Any other hints or issues?

Renaming is easy, just change the name in autoexec.ncf and reboot. Then
manually change the volume names to match, using nwadmin.

Did you mean the IP address only, or really mean the IPX address? The IP
address is easy too, just change it in autoexec or inetcfg (whichever you
use) and reboot again - this can be done at the same time as the above. If
you actually mean the internal IPX address, that must be done before or
after the name change, not at the same time.
