We have our first Windows XP machine and are trying connect it to our
Novell 3.12 Server. I configured the CSNW with the server name and the
login script selected. When I try to login then I get an error message
saying:

You are attached to server (server name here)
You are logged into server (server name here) as (username here)
error: unexpected error 0 x 20 during DeleteDriveBase

and then it hangs

I can click the (x) in the corner and get to the desktop but the
scripted drives have not mapped.

If I disable our server login scripts which map the drives then it will
connect fine. I am then able to manually map the drives. We do not see
this drive connection/mapping problem with our Windows 98 or Windows
2000 machines. We would like to get more Windows XP machines if I can
correct this problem. We are using the Windows XP Netware client that
came with the machine.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Jerry Reese

Hi Jerry,

This is best asked over in the client forums... but I'd try the Novell
client first.

On Windows 2000/NT & XP...
Novell Client 4.83 for Windows NT/2000, XP English 03/06/2002

http://download.novell.com/sdMain.jsp

and don't forget the update to the client:

If you can't get to the server with this client, tell the folks at the
client forum what you've done.
