I wouldn't use any recent NetWare clients with a 3.11 server - I'd
stick to NETX. But, then, I wouldn't still bre running a 3.11
server...

Hi Georg,

It's a testament that an ancient OS is still being used but I recommend
that you start planning on an upgrade.

Hi

You might try some of the older client software. What have you tried so
far?

We had similar problems with Netware 3.12. Downgrading the client from
(Win NT) 4.83 to 4.81 (with all available patches) solved it or at least
I did not have any complains after the downgrade.

I have found that a patched 4.81 client works quite well with NT and W2K --
the 4.83 client with patches is what I use with XP.
