I have an application on Server A (NW4.1). The users connect to Server B
(NW3.12) for F&P services (home directory and default printer assignments).
The default server is Server B. As the students logon to Server B, the
login script automatically logs them on to Server A and maps a drive to the
application. The drive mapping works and the appropriate rights appear to
be granted. In this scenario, the application fails. No useful error
message is generated.
However, if the same student logs on to Server A instead of Server B, the
application runs fine. I would like for the students to logon to Server B
initially. Can anyone offer suggestions? TIA

Does it map a search drive? If not, try it that way.....
