how to read novell 3.X file at NT or win system.

If you are saying the 3.x server is down, and you want to read a file from
the 3.x server's disk drive in another machine, there is no way. You will
have to get the 3.x server running again, or use a data recovery service.

Yes, My Novell machine is down. the machine is bad. but I need read the
novell file at other machine. But I not novell machine. Other machine is NT,
please tell me how to read it.

It probably will be simplest to move the drive to a different machine and
reinstall Netware.

Doing so will not overwrite a data volume. If the data you want is in a
Sys: volume reinstalling is not an option.

verify utility that normally comes with the controller?

Not all low-level verify operations are destructive...

The controller level verify is similar to scandisk. It will NOT destroy
the data.

The low level FORMAT will...
