is it possible to add an ide drive to
a netware 3.12 system using 2 scsi drives?

right now when I add the drive and create
a dos 6.2 partition it doesn't see the drive, only the
scsi drives.

I am a relative netware newbie so please explain
as best you can if it is at all possible

Steve,

Should work fine. If you can see the drive in install to create the NW
Partition you're about done.

Why are you creating a DOS partition on it? With a running system with two
SCSI drives, you're booting off one of them. The DOS partition on the IDE
drive can't be used by Netware.

Hi

If you use the IDE drive as boot only, you should not have any problems.

In fact, that's what I do for some of the systems I've worked on if volume
space gets tight.

You can, but you will need to jump through more hoops to do this than simply
adding a third SCSI drive.
