When installing the Faxware client on two
different Win98SE machines, I get the following
message:
>>Tobit Image Messaging: This printer could not be upgraded because its
driver (DVIMGMSG.DRV) could not be loaded. PLease
reinstall the printer
from the Printers folder.
When I try and install from the printers folder, I
get:
>>Tobit Fax-Image Driver: The file ...\DVIMGMSG.INF appears to be corrupt.
It lists the printer, but has no information about
it. Select a different
printer model.
I should add that I have tried this with two
different NW6SB add-on CDs with the same result.
And the INF file looks fine to my untutored eye.
The Tobit KB has no info that I could find on
this.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Ken

Thanks for your response.

I mean I installed Faxware twice, top to bottom,
using two different CDs. That is, I don't think
the problem is a media problem, corrupt file or
something of that nature.

No, I installed from the server. Each time (and I
have installed the client about ten times, now) I
have unistalled the info center and removed the
printer object before reinstalling.
Any other ideas? <g>
Tobit has no information on it that I could find.
