Tobit 6 on SB5.1sp1 cannot find code.eng

Hi

I have test installed on sb51sp1 and it seems to work - that is apart from
modem config/identification issues.

A client site with sb51sp1 will install but not run david. It comes up with
server\vol:david\code\resources\code.eng not found!
TLD and PCL load. David starts to load but then unloads with the above
message.
Downing the server does not resolve it. And it is lying because the file is
present. A copy from another CD does not fix it - ie not a corrupt file as
it works at home. A search add for the path does not help [to vol1, not
installed on sys].

The second install found the modem automatically because I had aiocomx
sorted for com1 and com2 by then. I would have to check the client site but
mine is aiocomx 2.18 - if this is important - see earlier forum notes..
Incidentally it thought the modem was type?1 not 2 !! I have not found a way
to fix this after install on my home test server.

I have yet to find anything in the Tobit help pdf files re the problems. The
Tobit web site is more unhelpful. They gratefully accept feedback and allow
emails to be sent BUT support is ONLY by phone!!! no email support.
Wonderful! No prizes. And the site does not have any obvious phone number
either! I have not checked Novell Support yet as I assumed there would not
be support for Tobit?

Can anyone give me a pointer on the modem reconfig or the service layer load
failure?

eindeutig ein rechte problem;-)

werf den "Faxware user servername" aus der nds raus und starte den service
layer noch mal, dann kommt die anmeldemaske wieder

It means that you will have to delete the Faxware user from NDS and then
restart the service layer.

Then you have the enter the admin username and password when the service
layer first start and set "use rights of this user" or something like that
