Rene,

It can, but it's not designed to and for other reasons it's a bad idea for a
network WS OS.

That's interesting. I've had nothing but good results from all 8 of our XP
Home version workstations (and laptops) for months now on SBS5.1 and 6.
What exactly is "bad" about using it? When I shopped around and compared
the two OS's, the major differences all seemed to focus on using MS
networking-specific items. We're very happy with the home version and plan
on continuing to load new PCs with it until we find something it can't do.

What's bad is that Novell and any other supplier do not support it as a
business OS, thus you are 100% on your own.

I too tried it out under SBS 5.1 and got it to work, however MS or even
Novell may at any point "break" it with updates so is it worth the risk? In
my opinion, most definately not!

Peter.

I have one client who spent 8 weeks testing it and came up with a
total of 4 problems. i don't have them to hand, and until I get back
to my server tomorrow morning, my e-mail is broken so I can't look it
up.
