Getting SLP infor from DHCP

I am having same problems with QIP here.

Please post any information if you succedded to fix it.

I don't think the author of the original message will see your reply as
the message you replied to is already more than 2 years old.
Anyway, regarding your problem, I don't know QIP and how it is
configured. However if it supports DHCPINFORM and if it supports adding
DHCP options of your own, you should be able to add the DHCP options
needed for SLP and related protocols yourself. Here is a TID that gives
the definitions of the options you would have to add. Of course, you
have to translate the definitions to whatever syntax your DHCP server
uses.

I do not believe that QIP properly supports DHCPINFORM requests.

The main company I work for currently uses QIP and the networks group
claimed they were unable to deliver SLP information for this reason.
Since the DHCP servers are not my responsibility, I can only assume they
are correct.

I also can't add much information such as version level, etc.......
