Hi fellas,

this forum seems "the closest match" to me.

A NW 4.11/SP9 server w/160 megs RAM, two 3c900 10mbit and 200Mhz
Pentium has to be our router to the internet until we get a 3COM
switch replaced. (No it is _not_ directly connected to the web - there
are some other devices in between).

Where or what to tweak to get the most performance out of it?

Thanx

Harald

If anything, raise the default values for minimum and maximum packet
receive buffers. But I doubt that's necessary, or will have any
noticeable effect on performance. Two 10mbit cards simply can't saturate
a NW4.11 server with your HW specs.
