I'm trying to get NetWare 6.4 to recognize the on-board 10/100 Ethernet port
on my HP Pavilion 725n, but am having no luck. The HP documentation or
website does not provide any additional information about the interface (go
figure).
I've also tried a NetGear FA331 which ships with drivers for NetWare 4.x and
5.x, but neither site has anything for 6.x
If anyone has had any succes with either of these configurations, please let
me know. Alternately, if someone could recommend a good CHEAP 100Mbps card
that works with NetWare 6.5, I would appreciate it greatly.
Thanks

Thanks very much for letting me know. For some reason, this still isn't
working, so I must be doing something else wrong. I put the card in PCI slot
#1, and have tried enabling/disabling the internal network connection, but
it still doesn't recognize the card. Perhaps I'll try a different slot...
Thanks again,
Steve

well - AFAIK, a standard Intel NIC should work (roughly $59) or CDW has
an inexpensive server adapter for $68 - email tjtin at cdw dot com and
tell him I sent you :)
