Dell 2650 NW 6 SP4 server

Everytime I restart this server I gets stuck on the following line:

CE100B-NW-000-Adapter 1-Board 1:
Supported Check Sum Values
1 Off
2 TX
3 RX
4 ON

I select 1 (don't know if this is correct). If I don't make a selection,
the server hangs on this and can't be accessed until I select an option.

Any ideas as to the cause of this error?

NW6SP4? That's a beta SP, which you really shouldn't be running in
production. However the issue is caused by a load line parameter on the
ce100b load line. If you do it in autoexec just edit it and correct the
checksum setting to what you want. If it's in inetcfg you do the same in
there.

Sorry I mistyped my version, I'm on NW6SP3 eDir 8.6.2SP4 (Just updating to
SP5).

I use InetCFG. When I open INETCFG and look a the "Boards-B57(NIC)-
Checksum" setting is shows bcm_35. When I press enter, it displays a list
of bcm_35, bcm_37, bcm_39, and bcm_41.

Which should I select?

Those settings are defined by the board maker, not Novell, so I don't know.
If it is not mentioned in their documentation you need to contact them. If
it was me, I'd just turn checksumming off entirely.

You refer to B57 (Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet adapter - the Dell
PE2650 has two such embedded NICs), but your original post was about an
Intel PRO/100 NIC (CE100B.lan), so I'd look for the CE100B board in InetCfg,
and if it's not there, look for the "Load CE100B..." line(s) in
AutoExec.ncf.
If you're not using a Intel NIC, remove the board entry from InetCfg and/or
remove the Load CE100B lines from AutoExec.ncf.
