we are running copper to the switch, and the switch is set to 100 full
duplex.
it seems that when we did a netware 6.5 upgrade from 6 that Inetcfg didn't
record the existing properly.because the rest of the netware 6 server have
the forceduplex=2 setting in the netinfo.cfg. my question is if I comment
out all of the Inetcfg statements in autoexec.ncf and set the nic cards
back to mannual , reboot and then retransfer the setting back to inetcfg,
would this be a problem in netware 6.5.
Thanks

No, that should be fine.

Hi,

Well, apart that you should really use AUTO on both sides, why not just
change the forceduplex parameter manually in sys:\etc\netinfo.cfg on the
driver load line, followed by deleting sys:\etc\netinfo.chk (if it
exists)?
